![]() ![]() In general it works and I don't have many issues but I too went through trying different PW managers in the last weeks.ġPW - Yes it it very nice and and has some better UI and tags and things like this but somethings annoyed me.ġ - The secret key to logon to new devices - this means you either need to remember something very difficult to remember or have it somewhere easy to access. I have been using BW for 3 years on Android and Windows and now my Steam Deck. In the end, both have positive and negative points. BW can take days on mobile, and hours on PC and browsers. BW has organizations but it is a mess (at least for me)ġP has instant sync. 1P doesn't have that.ġP has better sharing feature. I don't want to use keyboard shortcuts or click on browser extension on top of my browser every time I want to fill something.īW has roadmap which is shared by everyone. BW is not able to do that.ġP has browser overlay, which is a huge bonus point. Once you unlock 1P, it unlocks all browser extensions. once you add a field, let's say Security Notes, you cannot move it upwards or backwards, but it is possible in Bitwarden Other than that, UI is much better in 1Password, but you cannot reorganize fields, e.g. I have more than 80-90 sites which were saved only with but 1P can't recognize any of them. Also other fields are not in sync with web vault (numbers are different). I can't even see one unsecured website in my 1P app. I've had no issues exporting and importing my Bitwarden vault into 1Password, by the way.Īnyways, what does 1Password have that Bitwarden doesn't (e.g., security, blah blah blah), and in your opinion, if you were a security-conscious person like me who has been subject to multiple breach attempts, would you get 1Password? Is 1Password as private, if not more as Bitwarden? Is 1Password something that I can rely on that won't go down?ġP watchtower is not working properly for me. Adding on, 1Password is only about $28 more at ~$38 a year (give or take with tax, etc.), which would hurt my wallet when charged but provide little trouble for the rest of the year. I own the Bitwarden plan for $10 a year, but its little vault hygiene check feature is nowhere close to 1Password's watchtower feature, which alerted me to about 15 accounts on which I should change my passwords immediately (which I did do so!). I feel the urge to buy 1Password - currently using the free trial at the moment, but I'm worried it's just my "Spend all your money" side speaking. ![]() However, 1Password seems much more attractive to me, with its bells and whistles and more streamlined, modern-looking interface. Bitwarden is an excellent service capable of storing my passwords. Unfortunately, I'm too lazy to write another post dedicated to this sub, but you can get the gist of what I mean.ĭon't get me wrong. This is a repost from the Bitwarden subreddit (also written by me). We'll always be marked by an official flair, and will always love both 1Password and you. ![]() You'll see some friendly people from the 1Password team ready to help you - keep an eye out for /u/1PasswordCS-Blake, /u/agben, u/Zatara214, and more of us!
